Data Protection Notice (KVKK)
As Dizman Kağıtçılık Ambalaj İmalat İth. İhr. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("Company"), acting as data controller under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), we have prepared this notice to inform you about the processing of your personal data. Note: KVKK is a Turkish data protection law; this English text is provided for the convenience of our international visitors and the Turkish version is the governing text.
1. Identity of the Data Controller
The data controller is Dizman Kağıtçılık Ambalaj İmalat İth. İhr. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., operating at İkitelli Organize Sanayi Bölgesi Aykosan San. Sit. 6'lı C Blok No:135 Başakşehir/İstanbul, Türkiye.
2. Personal Data Processed and Purposes
Personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, company title and message content that you share with us through the contact form, quote requests and similar channels on our website are processed for the following purposes, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:
- Evaluating and responding to your requests and messages,
- Carrying out quotation, order and customer relationship processes,
- Providing information about our products and services,
- Fulfilling our legal obligations and resolving potential disputes,
- Internal reporting and improving our business processes.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes stated above, to authorized public institutions within the scope of our legal obligations, and to our hosting and IT service providers, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
4. Method of Collection and Legal Basis
Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact form, email, phone and similar communication channels on our website, and is processed based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5/2 of the KVKK, namely that 'processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject' and that it is 'directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract'.
5. Rights of the Data Subject
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
- Request deletion or destruction within the scope of Article 7 of the KVKK,
- Request that the actions taken be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- Object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis exclusively through automated systems,
- Request compensation for damages if you suffer a loss due to unlawful processing.
6. How to Apply
You may submit your requests regarding the rights listed above, together with identity-verifying documents, by emailing dizmanambalaj@gmail.com or applying in writing to our company address. Your applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on their nature.
